Terms of Use for 'Pain Point by Dr. Joe' App
Â
Last Updated: September 3, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Pain Point by Dr. Joe mobile application (iOS and, where available, Android) (“App”), provided by Physioloops, LLC (“Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”).
By downloading, accessing, purchasing through, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age required to independently consent to digital services in your jurisdiction, to use the App. If applicable law requires the consent or involvement of a parent or legal guardian, you may use the App only with that required consent or involvement.
Your use of the App is also subject to our Privacy Policy, available at:
https://www.physioloops.com/pain-point-privacy
For iOS users, the App is licensed under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple Standard EULA”). These Terms supplement, and do not replace, the Apple Standard EULA. If there is a conflict between these Terms and any mandatory terms imposed by Apple, the applicable Apple terms will control.
Educational and Self-Care Purpose
Pain Point provides educational information intended to help users better understand common muscular referral patterns, self-release techniques, stretches, and other general self-care concepts.
Pain Point is not a medical diagnostic tool and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, injury, or medical condition.
The information provided through the App is not a substitute for evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, or advice from a physician, physical therapist, dentist, or other qualified healthcare professional.
Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking medical care because of information provided through Pain Point.
Mandatory Medical and Safety Acknowledgment
Before accessing Pain Point content for the first time, users are required to complete introductory screens and acknowledge the App’s medical and safety disclaimer.
Access to the App’s pain maps, muscle information, and release content is not provided until the required acknowledgment is completed.
By proceeding, you acknowledge that:
- You are using Pain Point for general educational and self-care purposes.
- Self-release techniques and stretches may not be appropriate for every person or condition.
- You are responsible for deciding whether a technique is appropriate for you.
- You should stop any technique that causes unusual, severe, worsening, or concerning symptoms.
- Pain Point does not replace individualized professional healthcare.
When to Seek Medical Care
Do not rely on Pain Point for emergency or urgent medical conditions.
Seek appropriate medical attention if you experience symptoms such as severe or rapidly worsening pain, significant trauma, unexplained weakness or numbness, difficulty breathing, difficulty swallowing, fainting, loss of coordination, sudden severe headache, chest pain, signs of stroke, or any other symptom that may indicate a serious medical condition.
If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services.
No Guarantee of Results
Individual responses to self-care techniques vary.
Physioloops, LLC does not guarantee that any particular muscle, release technique, stretch, or other content identified through Pain Point is the cause of your symptoms or will produce pain relief or any other specific outcome.
Referral patterns displayed in Pain Point represent educational information about commonly described muscular pain patterns and should not be interpreted as a diagnosis.
No specific level of improvement, pain relief, recovery, or other result is promised or guaranteed.
Free Access
Pain Point may be downloaded and used without purchasing a Premium subscription.
The Free tier currently includes access to features such as:
- The full interactive 3D pain model
- All 14 pain zones
- Pain-location information
- Possible culprit muscles
- Common causes and avoidance information
- The names of available release techniques
- Favorites
- The searchable All Muscles browser
- How to Use information
- Two free release-video unlock credits
We may improve, modify, add to, or reorganize App features over time, subject to applicable law and any rights associated with completed purchases.
Free Video Unlock Credits
Each new user receives two free release-video unlock credits.
One credit may be used to unlock one specific technique video for one specific muscle.
If a muscle has multiple available techniques, each technique video is treated as a separate unlock choice.
For example, if a muscle includes more than one release approach, unlocking one technique does not automatically unlock every other technique associated with that muscle.
Once a technique video has been validly unlocked using a free credit, that technique is intended to remain available to that user without requiring an active Premium subscription, subject to technical availability, App compatibility, and these Terms.
Free credits have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred between users.
Premium Subscription
Pain Point also offers an optional Premium subscription.
An active Premium subscription provides access to the complete Premium release-video library, including 70+ guided release and stretch videos and all available techniques included with Premium at that time.
Premium may be offered through:
- A monthly auto-renewing subscription
- An annual auto-renewing subscription
The exact subscription price applicable to you is displayed in the App in your local currency before you complete a purchase.
Pain Point does not sell subscriptions through the Physioloops website. Subscription purchases are completed through the applicable mobile app store.
Apple Billing and Automatic Renewal
For purchases made through the Apple App Store, payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Your subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.
Your Apple ID account may be charged for renewal within the applicable period before the current subscription expires in accordance with Apple’s billing practices.
You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID / App Store subscription settings.
Deleting Pain Point from your device does not automatically cancel an active subscription.
If Pain Point becomes available through another mobile platform, subscriptions purchased through that platform will be subject to that platform provider’s applicable payment, renewal, and cancellation terms.
Restore Purchases
Pain Point includes a Restore Purchases option for eligible purchases and subscription entitlements.
RevenueCat is used to assist with purchase validation and entitlement management.
If you experience difficulty restoring a valid purchase, contact:
Restoration is subject to the purchase records maintained by Apple or the applicable app-store provider.
Cancellation
You may cancel an auto-renewing subscription at any time through the subscription-management settings associated with the app-store account used to make the purchase.
Cancellation stops future renewal charges but ordinarily does not immediately terminate access that has already been paid for.
Unless otherwise required by law or the applicable app-store provider, Premium access generally continues until the end of the current paid subscription period.
Refunds
Physioloops, LLC does not directly process Apple App Store payments and generally cannot directly issue refunds for purchases processed by Apple.
Requests for refunds for Apple App Store purchases must be submitted to Apple and are subject to Apple’s applicable refund policies and decisions.
Purchases made through another app-store provider, if available, are subject to that provider’s applicable refund procedures.
Video Availability
Pain Point release and stretch videos are delivered using third-party video-hosting and streaming services, including Vimeo.
Video playback therefore requires an internet connection and may occasionally be interrupted by network conditions, hosting availability, device compatibility, maintenance, or other technical issues beyond our direct control.
We may update, replace, reorganize, improve, or remove individual videos or techniques when reasonably necessary, including for educational, technical, safety, legal, or production reasons.
Favorites and Local App Data
Certain information, including favorites, preferences, onboarding acknowledgment, and free unlock information, may be stored locally on your device.
Free unlock credits and the videos unlocked with those credits are stored locally and may not be recoverable if the App is deleted, the device is reset, or local App data is cleared. Premium subscription entitlements, by contrast, remain eligible for restoration through the applicable app-store purchase records.
Deleting the App, resetting your device, changing devices, or clearing local App data may therefore affect locally stored information depending on the feature and available restoration mechanisms.
Additional information about App data practices is available in our Privacy Policy.
Quizzes and External Resources
Pain Point may contain links to Physioloops websites, quizzes, educational materials, or other external resources.
If you choose to open a linked educational quiz or other external resource, you may leave the App and enter a webpage that is governed by its own applicable terms and privacy practices.
External websites may have their own terms, privacy policies, data practices, purchases, programs, or services.
Opening an external resource does not mean that any separate Physioloops program, consultation, course, membership, or service is included with your Pain Point subscription unless expressly stated.

The App and its contents are owned by or licensed to Physioloops, LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
This includes, without limitation:

Purchasing or subscribing to Pain Point does not transfer ownership of any App content or intellectual property to you.

You are responsible for how you choose to use the information provided through Pain Point.
You should consider your own medical history, symptoms, injuries, diagnoses, medications, surgeries, physical limitations, and other relevant circumstances before attempting any self-release or stretching technique.
If you are uncertain whether a technique is appropriate for you, consult a qualified healthcare professional before attempting it.

Certain features may require an updated version of the App or a supported operating system.
We may modify these Terms when reasonably necessary. When we do, we will update the Last Updated date above.
Your continued use of the App after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Pain Point and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Physioloops, LLC makes no guarantee that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every user, condition, symptom, or purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Physioloops, LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of or inability to use Pain Point.
You acknowledge that self-release techniques, stretching, exercise, and other physical activities carry inherent risks and that you are responsible for exercising appropriate judgment when deciding whether and how to perform them.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
Apple-Specific Terms
For users who download Pain Point through Apple’s App Store:
- These Terms are between you and Physioloops, LLC, not Apple.
- Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for Pain Point except as required under applicable Apple terms.
- Apple is not responsible for claims relating to your possession or use of the App except where required by applicable law or Apple’s applicable agreements.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are intended third-party beneficiaries of the applicable provisions of these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA.
- Your license to use Pain Point remains subject to Apple’s applicable usage rules and Standard EULA.
Governing Law
To the extent permitted by applicable law, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Nothing in this section deprives you of mandatory consumer protections that apply under the laws of your place of residence.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Pain Point Privacy Policy, Apple Standard EULA where applicable, and any additional terms expressly presented to you in connection with a particular purchase or feature, constitute the applicable agreement governing your use of Pain Point.
